5/5/2013 Kirkwood Spring Fling Festival

The Summer of Festivals marches on for the OPA! Do you want the diversity of a big Festival with the warmth and ease of a neighborhood party?  (*yes) Then join us for the 11th Annual Kirkwood Spring Fling and Tour of Homes. Browse the open air Artist Market in the shade of giant trees. Enjoy the sounds of bands and singers on the main stage. Bring your children to the Kids Area. And grab lunch, a snack, and a beverage from one of our local food vendors. When the sun starts to set, the fire will begin! Live performance from some of Atlanta's finest fire spinners 7:30 - 8:30 ish and high 5's from the OPA's own stilt walkers threw out the day! Ladies and Gentlemen you are invited into the Carnival of Dreams! A place where all things can come true and all is possible! Atlanta Hunger Walk 2013

For a third year in a row, The Imperial OPA Circus is proud to be part of the Atlanta Hunger Walk! This year the hunger walk is on - on Sunday March 10, 2013 from 12 AM to 4 PM! This event is a fund raising event for the Atlanta community food Bank, and is an annual 5K walk and “fun run” begun in 1984, it is a project of the Atlanta Community Food Bank that unites our community to raise awareness and critical funds for local hunger relief. Proceeds from the event benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank and other local nonprofit organizations that support food pantries, community kitchens, shelters and other programs for people in need of food assistance. These benefiting partner organizations help recruit participants and receive a percentage of the funds raised to support their direct hunger relief programs. The Imperial OPA Circus will be providing free of charge - walk around entertainment and excitement to the race goers! Wish for Wendy Foundation Fundraiser

Join the Imperial opa circus this evening, February 23, 2013 at the Opera nightclub located in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia for the fund-raising event for the wish for when the foundation! Wendy Carol Lipman (who the foundation is named after) was born December 18, 1970 and passed away January 2, 1971. She died from complications of cystic fibrosis. Back then, there weren't many treatments for cystic fibrosis. Thanks to events like A Wish for Wendy, donations are leading to treatments and are moving us even closer to a cure. The Masked Charade – Ticket Sales

The Imperial OPA, Atlanta’s favorite neighborhood circus, is unveiling their new show “The Masked Charade”. Opening night, will be November 9, 2012, 8:30 p.m. with additional shows November 10, 16 at the The Arts Exchange, 750 Kalb Ave. SE, in Grant Park. On the 17th, the show will be performed at The Henry W. Grady High School (929 Charles Allen Drive Northeast Atlanta, GA 30309) with doors at 8:30pm. This amazing production will feature a fusion of circus arts, including Spanish web, trapeze and juggling, as well as original choreography with live music and a world famous magician! In our current production, we have developed a partnership with the creative dance force of Rhythma Studios. 35 local artists, performers and stagehands have worked together to bring this 2 hour show to life. The story is the tale of a Clown, who succumbs to his desires and loses himself in an evil shadowy mask. Mayhem occurs as the show unfolds and the characters find themselves trapped behind powerful masks. How will they be able to remove the evil and find happiness and laughter once again? East Atlanta Strut 2012!

If you live in Atlanta, Georgia and like to have a good time, then you know about the East Atlanta strut! This remarkable one-day festival has become a hallmark of the robust and colorful East Atlanta neighborhood. Started as a bunch of jazz musicians cooking out in the backyard, It has since ballooned into a cultural phenomenon in the city. The Imperial OPA circus has been thrilled to be a part of this event for last two years and we are excited to announce that for the third year in a row we will be back on stage entertaining the crowds throughout the day and walking in what is one of the finest parades in the city!
